Open on New Years Day for a brisk walk and some fresh air after Christmas February 18th February - Visit to Alford Mill and to see the new sails being made at the millwrights March 10th & 11th March - Discover Lincolnshire Open Weekend. April Open all Easter Weekend and start of extended opening hours
Saturday 28th April - 7.30pm Quiz Night run by Heckington Players with profits to the windmill Contact Andrew Key for details 01529 461161 May 5th, 6th & 7th May Open All Weekend Baking Demonstrations 1.30pm - 3.30pm 12th & 13th May - Join us for National Mills Weekend Click Here for more details w/c 21st May Work begins on the sails with the shutters being removed for inspection June Queens Diamond Jubilee Weekend Saturday - Tuesday, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th June 12.00 - 5pm each day Open All Weekend with Beer Festival Baking Demonstrations - 1.30pm - 3.30pm each day We will be baking a special "Crown Loaf" each day plus other breads Saturday 30th June Armed Forces Day - FREE entry to all serving & veteran members of the armed forces July Hopefully the new sails will be being fitted soon..... 28th & 29th July Open weekend in conjunction with Heckington Show. Plus beer festival at the 8 Sail Brewery. August Mill open every day during the school holidays Lottery bid deadline September 29th & 30th September Threshing Weekend & Demonstrations October November December Father Christmas will be at the mill.
