The Bakehouse

Picture
The old bakehouse
Plans are in the very early stages for the conversion of the old bakehouse into a baking school.
We hope to run a pilot project this year to include areas for schools and local community groups to come and learn to make bread and cakes using Heckington mill flour.

Keep watch for more information.....

8 Sail Facts

The original bakehouse was built shortly after the windmill in 1830.  The building that now stands on the site of the first bakehouse contains a small amount of brickwork from the original building.
