Steaming & Milling Days!

ON THE FIRST SATURDAY IN EACH MONTH 

Come and see Maud, our Tuxford steam engine in steam. We also have our Ruston Hornsby oil engine working, which drives the mill stones on the ground floor of the windmill, milling our flour.
​Other display engines are welcome to join us - contact us for more information

With FREE entry to the windmill to all serving and veteran forces members.

Heckington Show Weekend

10.30am - 4.30pm


Visit us at the Show in the Heritage area, or come and visit the windmill.

8 Sail Facts

Heckington Windmill played a key role in a Guinness World Record for the fastest produced loaf of bread.
 In 1992 the bakers in the village took standing wheat from the field to the table, via the mill - just 21 minutes!
