Cycling & Walking

Heckington Windmill is the perfect place for a stop along your walking or cycling route.  We have cycle racks, repair kit and free water bottle fill points around the site.  ​With our award winning tea rooms, its the perfect place to stop on route.
Heckington Village Heritage Trail is a 1.2 mile walk around Heckington with a guide to the village's highlights, including  two Guinness world records, a notorious highway man, one of Britain's finest parish churches and England’s largest village show!
The trail is available as a webpage that guides you around the village, perfect to use on your mobile!

Spires & Steeples Cycle Trail 
is a 25 mile cycle route which will take you on a tour of the gently rolling countryside and villages around Sleaford and includes a visit to the famous  8 sail windmill at Heckington.
